PingAn Good Doctor Launches AI Healthcare Platform at WAIC, Cuts Consulting Costs 45%

At the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC 2026) held July 17-20 in Shanghai, PingAn Good Doctor unveiled its "PingAn Smart Home Doctor" platform, combining AI and human doctors to deliver healthcare services. The company also received recognition as a "2026 Healthcare+AI Innovation Excellence Partner" for its contributions to medical AI development.

The platform leverages PingAn's proprietary medical large language model to enable AI-assisted diagnostic evaluations while reserving final review authority to licensed physicians. According to the company, AI assistance reduced per-consultation costs by 45% in the fourth quarter of 2025 compared to the prior year. The product features a "1+6" AI healthcare manager matrix, including one core AI doctor and six specialized AI agents covering traditional Chinese medicine, chronic disease management, nutrition, medical records interpretation, critical illness advisory, and fitness coaching.
