According to Foresight News, the Polygon Foundation announced that the Ithaca hard fork will go live on Polygon mainnet on July 29 at 22:00 UTC, corresponding to block 50,185,000. The upgrade introduces an automatic failover mechanism that maintains transaction flow during rare validator stalls, adds security measures to filter transactions that could degrade network stability, and provides improved visibility for node operators.

All node operators are urged to upgrade promptly to ensure network compatibility and security.
