Porsche Considers Cutting Up to 4,000 Jobs in Germany, Decision Expected by Late July

According to Handelsblatt, Porsche is considering cutting up to 4,000 jobs at its Zuffenhausen factory in Germany, following earlier workforce reductions of 3,900 positions. The administrative and management departments will be particularly affected. The carmaker is also evaluating a production capacity reduction of approximately 30% at its Weissach development center. A final decision on the scope of the next round of layoffs is expected by late July.
