According to TechCrunch, London-based AI startup Recursive Superintelligence signed a multiyear $410 million compute deal with Amazon Web Services on July 28 to support research into self-improving AI systems. The company prioritizes infrastructure investment over hiring.

Recursive, which emerged from stealth in May with $650 million in funding at a $4.65 billion valuation, plans to release its first products around October. AWS is not taking equity in the company, and the two will co-develop infrastructure tailored to Recursive's needs.
