According to Cassie Craddock, Managing Director for UK and Europe at Ripple, Ripple has obtained Crypto Asset Service Provider (CASP) authorization on July 6, becoming fully compliant under the European Union's Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulatory framework. The license enables Ripple's services to be passported across the 30-country European Economic Area under a unified legal structure, eliminating country-by-country compliance requirements. Financial institutions can now integrate XRP Ledger-based liquidity routes and Ripple Payments through regulated infrastructure, streamlining institutional adoption of digital asset settlement.
