Russell Governance Approves IPO Fast-Entry Rule Adjustment, Effective Immediately

According to Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas, Russell governance committee has approved adjustments to IPO fast-entry rules and index minimum admission standards on May 27. Under the updated methodology, an IPO qualifies for fast-entry assessment when its investable market capitalization exceeds the market-adjusted threshold set at the prior Russell Top 500 rebalance. The threshold will be adjusted quarterly based on market conditions.
