According to Russian state nuclear company CEO Likhachev, Ukrainian armed forces struck Zaporizhzhia nuclear power station and Energodar city dozens of times within 24 hours on May 18. The facility, Europe’s largest nuclear power plant, remains under Russian control. Ukraine has not yet responded to the claims. The plant has faced repeated shelling and drone attacks during the ongoing conflict, raising international safety concerns.
