According to Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun on May 19, a Russian drone struck a cargo vessel in the Black Sea yesterday, with no casualties reported among Chinese crew members aboard. The vessel is registered in the Marshall Islands and carries Chinese crew members, according to Guo. China’s embassy in Ukraine confirmed contact with the crew and verified that all personnel are safe.
