Russia's Crypto Holdings Virtually Flat at 3.8B Rubles in Past Six Months, as Moscow Exchange Adds Solana/Ripple/Tron Futures

According to Russia's central bank financial stability report, Russian private investors held approximately 3.8 billion rubles in cryptocurrency-linked financial instruments, virtually unchanged from 3.7 billion rubles six months ago, signaling stalled market interest. Holdings include 1.7 billion rubles in crypto-linked commercial bonds, 1.7 billion rubles in futures positions held by 5,600 investors, and 354 million rubles in Bitcoin and Ethereum-linked digital assets held by roughly 3,800 investors. Major issuers include Sber and VTB. Moscow Exchange added Solana, Ripple, and Tron futures in May 2026, alongside existing Bitcoin and Ethereum derivatives.
