Gate News message, April 17 — Sajwo, a global AI-powered cross-border commerce platform, announced a partnership with Rakuten, Japan’s major e-commerce platform, to jointly promote their services in the Korean market.
Under the partnership, Sajwo will sell Rakuten-listed products to Korean users, with plans to expand globally. Product information will be updated in real-time through API integration. When users purchase Rakuten products on Sajwo, the transaction simultaneously occurs on Rakuten’s platform. Sellers ship items to Sajwo’s logistics center, where products are inspected, consolidated, and delivered to buyers. The two companies will also collaborate on marketing and customer support, with Sajwo deploying Korean staff to handle product inquiries and providing customer feedback analysis to support Rakuten’s market entry in Korea.
Sajwo is a global AI cross-border commerce platform currently operating in Korea and Japan, with plans to expand to North America and Europe. Its AI technology automatically calculates additional costs such as customs fees, tariffs, and shipping expenses. The platform also translates and localizes product details and purchase options from foreign shopping mall URLs. With this partnership, Sajwo now handles products from both major Japanese e-commerce platforms—Rakuten and Mercari.
