Salesforce Ventures Leads 8090 Labs' $135 Million Series A; Chamath Palihapitiya Named CEO

According to TechCrunch, AI coding startup 8090 Labs completed a $135 million Series A funding round led by Salesforce Ventures on June 29. Founder Chamath Palihapitiya is assuming the CEO role. Other investors include WndrCo, Craft Ventures, The Production Board, Launch, and angel investors including Palo Alto Networks CEO Nikesh Arora. 8090 Labs' Software Factory is an AI-native platform designed for regulated enterprises in healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, and government, integrating software teams and AI agents with audit trails and operational controls.
