According to Fortune, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman revealed on May 10 that ChatGPT users across different age groups have distinct usage patterns. Older users treat the platform as a Google search replacement, while those in their 20s and 30s use it as a personal advisor. University students employ it as a daily operating system, leveraging conversation memory for emotional advice, career negotiation, medical consultation, and major life decisions. More than one-third of Americans aged 18 to 24 use ChatGPT frequently.
