Samsung and SK Hynix to Announce South Korea Investment Plans This Month

According to South Korea's Daily Economic News, Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix are in the final review stage of their investment plans across various South Korean regions and may announce details as early as this month. The two chipmakers are expected to expand facilities in the southwest and central areas, potentially including advanced packaging facilities and possibly semiconductor wafer fabrication plants. Samsung is reportedly planning to establish an advanced packaging facility in Gwangju, South Jeolla Province.
