Samsung CEO Meets Huang for HBM4E, HBM5 Collaboration on June 8

According to Yonhap News, Samsung Electronics co-CEO Jun Young-hyun met with Nvidia's Jensen Huang on Monday (June 8) to discuss next-generation high-bandwidth memory (HBM) technologies and long-term cooperation. The collaboration scope covers HBM4E, HBM5, and foundry services.

In the near term, Samsung aims to ensure HBM4 supply to meet Nvidia's demand, as Nvidia holds a dominant position in the global AI accelerator market. Young-hyun stated Samsung will focus on delivering competitive results through actual performance.
