Samsung Electronics Explores U.S. ADR Listing on July 14

According to Bloomberg, Samsung Electronics is reviewing the issuance of American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) to list on U.S. markets on July 14, citing anonymous sources. The company has held preliminary discussions with banks but has not made a final decision to pursue the listing. The move follows SK Hynix's recent U.S. stock market debut, which raised approximately $25.5 billion through ADR issuance, setting a record for foreign company IPOs. Bloomberg noted that Samsung had previously considered ADR issuance before withdrawing the plan.
