Samsung Unveils Galaxy Z Fold 8 on July 22, Designs Shorter Model to Counter Apple's Foldable iPhone

According to Samsung's media invitation issued on Tuesday, the company will unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 8 on July 22 in London during its Galaxy Unpacked event. The new flagship foldable phone will feature a shorter, wider design that resembles Apple's planned foldable iPhone. Samsung is also introducing a third variant with a more compact, passport-sized format.

Samsung's July launch aims to dominate the foldable smartphone market and diminish the impact of Apple's anticipated first-generation foldable device, expected later this year.
