According to Yonhap News TV, Samsung Active Asset Management's KoAct Kosdaq Active ETF fell 35.27% from its March 11 high of 14,800 won, closing at 9,580 won on July 6. The fund, which launched March 10 at 12,020 won, has underperformed as the Kosdaq index declined 26.12% over the same period.
The ETF experienced significant outflows totaling 376.2 billion won over three months from late March, following initial inflows of 1.05 trillion won in the two weeks after listing. Weakness in biotech and battery material stocks amid fading rate-cut expectations and global growth concerns contributed to performance pressures.
