Schneider Electric to Open Southeast Asia Training Hub in Malaysia This Year, AI Tools Cut Energy Use 2%-3%

According to Reuters, Schneider Electric plans to open a Southeast Asia training center in Malaysia this year to address rising power demand from AI infrastructure expansion in the region. The center will train partners and customers on energy management systems and data center equipment. Schneider's AI tools help optimize cooling and power consumption, achieving energy savings of 2% to 3%, said executive Henri Berthe. Analysts expect Southeast Asia's data center capacity to triple by 2030.
