SEC Delays 24 Prediction Market ETFs, Seeks Public Input on Novel Fund Types

GateNews
According to SEC Chairman Paul Atkins on Wednesday, the agency has delayed decisions on 24 event contract ETFs from issuers including Bitwise, Roundhill, and GraniteShares that were initially set to launch in May. Atkins said in an official statement that the SEC is evaluating novel questions raised by the new ETF types and has instructed staff to seek public input on how the Commission should respond to recent market changes. The filings, submitted in February, were nearing the end of a 75-day review window.
