According to Odaily, the U.S. Senate Banking Committee announced it will hold a voting hearing on the Clarity Act (Digital Asset Market Transparency Act of 2025) on May 14 at 10:30 a.m. The bill had stalled over disputes regarding stablecoin yield provisions. Senators Tom Tillis and Angela Alsobrooks recently reached a compromise proposal to prohibit yield on static stablecoin reserves while allowing rewards for active stablecoins.
