Gate News message, April 22 — Shanghai’s cyberspace administration announced the latest batch of generative AI services that have completed registration as of April 21, 2026. One new generative AI service was registered, bringing the cumulative total in Shanghai to 158 services.

The registration follows the “Generative Artificial Intelligence Service Management Interim Measures,” which requires generative AI service providers to complete registration with regulatory authorities.
