Shanghai Government Releases Plan to Accelerate AI-Powered Industrial Software Development on May 27

On May 27, Shanghai's municipal government released an implementation plan aimed at advancing service industry expansion and quality improvement. The plan includes implementing an "AI+" initiative to accelerate the development of AI-powered industrial software through enhanced computing infrastructure, large-scale model deployment, and data governance to improve R&D efficiency.

The government will also advance core software technology breakthroughs, promote industry-specific large models and general-purpose intelligent agents for large-scale deployment in industrial and financial sectors, and research incentive mechanisms to encourage platform enterprises to accelerate information service transformation.
