Silver Hits $87 Overnight, Hyperliquid Whale Liquidation Risk at 2.5%

GateNews

According to Hyperinsight monitoring, spot silver rose to $87 on May 12, with Hyperliquid’s SILVER contract trading at $85.8, up 7% in 24 hours and hitting a two-month high.

Among large traders who opened positions of over $1 million in the past week, one short seller is now at risk of liquidation. The trader holds a $1.72 million position with a liquidation price of $88.26, just 2.5% above the current price. If silver continues to $88 and above, this would be the first on-chain whale liquidated in the current rally.
