Six HK IPO Stocks Begin Trading; Basic Semiconductor Up 11% in Gray Market

According to Yao Cai Securities, six new Hong Kong-listed stocks began trading on July 8, with chip manufacturer Basic Semiconductor (stock code: 09971) leading gains, closing up 11% in gray market trading at HK$35.1 versus the offer price of HK$31.62. Among the six debuts, electronic paper display supplier Oriental Sci-Tech (01770) closed up 4.4% at HK$82.1, autonomous driving company Yikong Zhizhu (07687) closed up 6.69% at HK$93.8, and material science company Bojai New Materials (08090) closed up 6.11% at HK$6.6. Autonomous driving developer Momenta (06880) showed minimal gains at up 0.34%, while visual AI firm Ruiwei Technology (07656) broke below offer price, declining 13.76% to HK$18.68.
