SLS Stock Surges 292% in H1 as Retail Traders Hold Ahead of AML Trial Readout

According to a Stocktwits poll as of July 1, 49% of retail traders were holding SLS shares while 35% were buying or adding to positions as Sellas Life Sciences' stock rallied 292% in the first half of 2026. Only 8% said they were selling or trimming positions.

The Regal Phase 3 trial of GPS in acute myeloid leukemia has reached 78 of the 80 events required for final analysis, putting the company close to a key clinical readout. CEO Angelos Stergiou said the slower-than-expected event accumulation is "a profoundly positive signal—it suggests patients are living longer than projected." The trial is considered successful if GPS extends median overall survival to 12.6 months, compared with 8 months under standard treatment.
