According to Yonhapinfomax, South Korea's Deputy Finance Minister Lee Hyung-il announced on July 21 plans to advance AI Agent Commerce through regulatory sandbox measures at the nation's second Strategic Economic Forum in Seoul. Lee stated the government aims to establish a sustainable data circulation system with the goal of becoming a global leader in Physical AI. The forum, co-hosted by the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Industrial Research Institute, discussed future competitiveness strategies for AI technologies including AI agents and physical AI systems.
