South Korea Imposes Anti-Dumping Tariffs Up to 31.55% on European PVC Resin From August 5

According to South Korea's Ministry of Economy and Finance, the government will impose anti-dumping tariffs of 25.79%-31.55% on PVC paste resin imports from Germany, France, Norway, and Sweden starting August 5 for five years. PVC paste resin is a fine powder plastic raw material used in consumer and industrial products including synthetic leather, wallpaper, flooring, and gloves. The decision follows an investigation launched by the Industrial Trade Commission after a request from Han Wha Solutions, which confirmed dumping practices and material damage to the domestic industry.
