South Korea Plans to Announce Supplementary Measures for Samsung, SK Hynix Leveraged ETFs on June 16

According to Yonhap Infomax, South Korea's economic and financial authorities plan to hold a market review meeting (F4 meeting) on June 16 afternoon to announce supplementary measures for single-stock leveraged exchange-traded funds (ETFs) on Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix. The meeting will be attended by Deputy Prime Minister Koo Yun-cheol, Bank of Korea Governor Shin Hyun-song, Financial Services Commission Chair Lee Eok-won, and Financial Supervisory Service Governor Lee Chan-jin. The move follows President Lee Jae-myung's directive on June 15 to rapidly prepare remedial measures for the leveraged ETF products, which were introduced in late May.
