South Korea to List 16 Leverage and Inverse ETFs Linked to Samsung, SK Hynix This Wednesday

According to Korea's Financial Services Commission and Financial Supervisory Service, 16 leverage and inverse exchange-traded funds (ETFs) linked to Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix will launch on South Korean exchanges on May 27. Eight asset management companies—Samsung Asset Management, Mirae Asset, Korea Investment, KB, Shinhan, Hanwha, Kiwoom, and Hana—will jointly list the products. Mirae Asset Securities will also introduce two types of exchange-traded notes (ETNs) tied to the semiconductors.
