According to Korea Federation of Banks, on July 7, commercial bank 12-month fixed deposit rates rose to 2.4%–3.82% amid a rising interest rate environment. Meanwhile, savings banks offered deposit products in the 4% range, with some promotional offerings reaching the 5% level.
