South Korean Won Falls Below 1,500 Against US Dollar for First Time in 41 Days

According to Hana Bank, the South Korean won dropped below 1,500 against the US dollar on July 8 for the first time in 41 days. At 3:45 p.m., the exchange rate stood at 1,500 won per dollar, down 17.2 won (1.13%) from the previous trading session. The intraday low reached 1,498.5 won, marking a break below the 1,500 threshold last seen on May 28.
