South Korea's Financial Services Commission Expects Leveraged ETF Market Cap to Shrink to 4-5 Trillion Won by July 16

According to the Financial Services Commission on July 16, South Korea's financial regulator expects the market capitalization of single-stock leveraged exchange-traded funds (ETFs) to shrink from the current 12 trillion won to 4-5 trillion won, returning to levels at the time of initial listing. A senior official stated that increased cash requirements would impose greater constraints than margin increases, contributing to demand reduction.
