South Korea's FSC Delays Corporate Governance Reform to Prioritize Real Estate Finance Policy

According to financial sources, on July 24 South Korea's Financial Services Commission postponed its planned corporate governance reform announcement to prioritize real estate financing policy. The FSC will focus on completing real estate-related financial measures by next week, with Financial Services Commission Chair Lee Euk-won canceling scheduled leave and working through the weekend on the matter. The governance reform package, originally set for this month, will now be delayed, with the government prioritizing a comprehensive real estate policy expected to be announced by end of July.
