South Korea's Government Bond Yields Hit Record Highs Last Week, 50-Year Note Up 7.3bp

According to analyst Kim Nam-hyun, South Korea's bond market weakened last week (July 3-10), with long-term yields rising sharply. The 30-year and 50-year government bond yields reached all-time highs, while the yield curve steepened. Specifically, the 3-year bond yield rose 2.0bp, the 10-year rose 3.3bp, the 20-year rose 6.9bp, the 30-year rose 7.0bp, and the 50-year rose 7.3bp.
