South Korea's KOSPI Index Hits All-Time High, Up 2.63% as Chip and Auto Stocks Lead

According to Odaily, South Korea's KOSPI index closed up 2.63% at 7,844.0 points today, hitting an all-time high.

Storage chip giants SK Hynix and Samsung Electronics surged 7.9% and 1.79% respectively, while Hyundai Motor climbed over 9%. The automaker plans to test artificial intelligence-powered autonomous vehicles in Gwangju, South Korea.
