South Korea's Top Ramen Makers Forecast Q2 Earning Surprises Driven by Overseas Growth

According to major South Korean securities firms, Samyang Foods and Nongshim are expected to deliver Q2 2026 earnings surprises led by strong overseas performance. Samyang's Q2 revenue is projected at 761.6 billion won with operating profit of 176 billion won; overseas revenue is forecast to account for 82.5% of total sales, driven by continued growth in the U.S. and China. Nongshim's Q2 revenue is estimated at 936.7 billion won with operating profit of 57.7 billion won, with export sales rising 15%. Notably, Nongshim's European revenue is projected to surge 329% year-over-year to 39.5 billion won, contributing to the company's anticipated operating profit surprise.
