South Korea's WTI Crude Oil ETF Surges 10.67% for Week, Covered Call Products Rally

According to Korea Stock Exchange, for the week ended July 16, KODEX WTI Crude Oil Futures ETF surged 10.67%, leading South Korea's ETF market amid rising international crude oil prices. TIGER Crude Oil Futures Enhanced ETF climbed 10.14% to rank second, while defensive products including high-dividend and covered call ETFs also posted solid gains, with PLUS High-Dividend Weekly Covered Call rising 4.92% and multiple dividend-focused covered call products advancing between 2.5% and 2.7%. Conversely, Chinese tech and domestic semiconductor-related ETFs faced sharp declines, with TIGER China Semiconductor FACTSET dropping 17.35% as a wave of profit-taking swept the sector following volatility in U.S. semiconductor stocks.
