S&P 500 Closes Down 1.4% Today, Nasdaq-100 Falls 1.7% as Tech and Industrials Lead Losses

On June 10, the S&P 500 closed down 1.4%, with the Industrials sector falling 3.2% and both Materials and Consumer Discretionary declining at least 2%. Energy gained 1.7%.

The Nasdaq-100 ended down 1.7%, with losses led by Insmed (-7.7%), Qualcomm (-6.3%), Western Digital (-5.4%), and Arm Holdings (-4.9%). Tesla fell 3.5% and Nvidia declined 3.2%. In the Dow, Caterpillar closed down 6.1%, while Boeing, Amazon, and Goldman Sachs lost more than 2%. The Semiconductor Index fell 3.2%.
