According to a public notice from Glasscock County, SpaceX plans to invest $55 billion to build a next-generation vertically integrated semiconductor manufacturing and advanced computing facility in Texas. If all subsequent project phases are completed, the total capital investment could reach as much as $119 billion. The Terafab project, co-developed by SpaceX and Tesla, aims to produce chips for robotics, space, and artificial intelligence applications.
