Spot Gold Falls 2% to $3,975, Silver Down 4%, Palladium Down 5% on July 16

On July 16, spot gold fell 2.08% to $3,975.93 per troy ounce during New York trading, approaching the June 30 low of $3,943.29. Spot silver declined 3.97% to $55.5054 per ounce, while spot palladium fell 5.09% to $1,254.10 per ounce. COMEX gold futures fell 1.79% to $3,979.20 per ounce, and COMEX silver futures dropped 2.85% to $55.795 per ounce. Platinum fell 3.40% to $1,621.52 per ounce.
