Spot Silver Falls 5.13% to $73.73, Trading Near 73-Month Low on May 19

On Tuesday (May 19), spot silver fell 5.13% to $73.7275 per ounce, trading within a range of $78.8980–$73.0977. COMEX silver futures declined 4.37% to $74.060 per ounce, approaching the 200-day moving average at $65.798. COMEX copper futures fell 1.95% to $6.1925 per pound, retreating from May 13's peak of $6.7160. Spot platinum dropped 3% to $1,924.42 per ounce, while spot palladium fell 4.12% to $1,363.01 per ounce.
