Starmer Accuses Musk of Stoking Division in UK After Henry Nowak Murder Case

UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer accused Elon Musk this week of inciting unrest in Britain. Musk had claimed, referencing the murder of 18-year-old Henry Nowak, that official police policy requires officers to discriminate against white people. Starmer responded that Musk is "stoking division" in the UK and emphasized that "in Britain, we are rational, tolerant people" who respond calmly to such tragic events.

Nowak was stabbed by a Sikh man; body camera footage released this week showed the attacker falsely claimed to police that Nowak had used racial slurs against him. Musk's statements appear to have conflated the attacker's false accusation with actual police policy.
