Strategist Yardeni Remains Calm on U.S. Treasury Yields at 4.25%-4.75%, Views Levels as Normal

According to Bloomberg Television, strategist Ed Yardeni said investors are calmly handling U.S. Treasury yield increases, with 10-year yields at 4.25%-4.75% representing normal levels. "I am not alarmed by this," Yardeni stated, noting that U.S. Treasuries remain viewed as a safe haven amid multiple global concerns. Should yields continue to rise, Treasury Secretary Benson may consider reducing longer-term bond issuance in favor of increased short-term Treasury bill offerings.
