Stripe Launches Machine Payments Protocol, Enabling AI Agents to Set Up Payments via Prompts

According to Stripe's official announcement, the payments platform has launched Machine Payments Protocol (MPP), allowing AI agents to complete payment setup and integration by simply sending a prompt to the system. The new feature significantly lowers the barrier for autonomous AI agent payments, eliminating the need for manual code implementation. Multiple companies, including Zincdotcom, Agentscoretrust, and ONDBAI, have already begun accepting machine payments from AI agents via MPP and the x402 protocol.
