According to Sui's official postmortem, the mainnet experienced three network disruptions on May 28-29, 2026 (Pacific Time). The first two outages stemmed from bugs in version 1.72's Gas charging logic interacting with the Address Balances feature; the third was triggered by a randomness state defect discovered during epoch transition. Disruptions lasted approximately 6.5, 3.5, and 5.67 hours respectively. User funds remained secure throughout, and no confirmed transactions were rolled back. All vulnerabilities have been fully patched and network activity has resumed normal operations.
