Survey Shows 94.4% of Chinese Users Have Heard of AI Social Products, 56% Choose to Confide in AI

According to Tencent Research Institute's survey on May 31, 94.4% of surveyed Chinese internet users aged 18 to 40 have heard of at least one AI social product or function, with 98.8% having used such products. Among those, 62.5% regularly use AI social assistance tools.

When facing thoughts they find difficult to share with others, 56.0% of respondents choose to confide in AI, nearly four times the 14.4% who share with real people, according to the economic daily.
