Taiwan Affairs Office Characterizes PLA Military Exercises as Justified Warning on May 20

According to the Taiwan Affairs Office, spokesperson Zhu Fengglian responded on May 20 morning at a regular press briefing to remarks made by Taiwanese official Cho Jung-tai, characterizing recent PLA military exercises as "a necessary and just warning." Cho Jung-tai had claimed the exercises represented "the greatest source of instability and destabilization in the region," while calling for "healthy and orderly dialogue" between the two sides.
