Tencent Launches 'Tongpin Pai' Light Social Mini-Program with AI Matching on WeChat

According to PANews, Tencent launched the light social WeChat mini-program "Tongpin Pai" on July 15, designed to help users find like-minded friends based on personality and interests. The app is currently in closed beta, available only to Tencent internal staff, and supports one-tap WeChat login. Users can receive friend notifications and activity updates through the WeChat service account.

Tongpin Pai features an AI-powered radar function that displays nearby users with shared interests based on geographic location, alongside an activity marketplace where users can create or join interest-based events. The product remains in testing phase, with official launch details to be announced.
