Tesla FSD Shifts to Personalized Driving, Learns User Habits to Fix HOV Lane Errors

TSLA-2.95%
According to CEO Elon Musk recently, Tesla's Full Self-Driving (FSD) system is transitioning from a universal one-size-fits-all logic to personalized driving models. The neural network will now learn individual driver habits and preferences, addressing the recurring issue of incorrectly exiting high-occupancy (HOV) lanes into congested traffic. Musk noted the system will record driver interventions and adjust based on personal preferences, such as backing into parking spots versus driving in front-first. Tesla's recent "takeover feedback menu" collects reasons for manual interventions, helping engineers prioritize fixes. An upgraded FSD v15 with approximately 10 times more parameters is expected by year-end or early next year.
