Thailand Approves $29 Billion in Projects Led by Data Centers on May 6

According to the Thailand Board of Investment, on May 6, the country’s BOI approved six projects worth 958 billion baht ($29 billion), with three data center projects totaling 913 billion baht ($28 billion). TikTok System Thailand’s project accounts for 842 billion baht ($25.8 billion) to expand servers and data facilities across three provinces, while DAMAC Group’s Skyline unit received approval for 46 billion baht ($1.41 billion) and Singapore-based Bridge Data Centres for 24.6 billion baht ($753 million).
